Lead Generation Coordinator Position Purpose
Responsible for serving as the first point of contact for inbound customer communications across phone, digital, and SMS channels. This position supports business development, marketing, and sales activities through lead qualification, accurate data management, and timely lead routing to improve customer response times, CRM data quality, lead conversion, and overall performance.
Lead Generation Coordinator Essential Functions
  • Communicates and supports the Kirby Smith vision and core values of One Mission, One Team, One Plan, One Goal
  • Responds promptly to inbound inquiries received through website forms, phone calls, text messages, email, chat, OEM referrals, and marketing campaigns
  • Engages prospective customers to understand their equipment needs, project requirements, timelines, budgets, and applications
  • Builds rapport with prospective customers while providing a professional and responsive first impression of Kirby-Smith Machinery
  • Captures, qualifies, and accurately enters lead and customer information into CRM systems
  • Routes leads to the appropriate sales, parts, or service teams based on established criteria
  • Nurtures prospective customers who are researching future equipment purchases or rentals until they are ready for sales engagement
  • Schedules appointments, consultations, or service requests as needed
  • Monitors communication channels to ensure inquiries receive timely responses
  • Maintains detailed and accurate records of customer interactions for tracking and reporting purposes
  • Supports marketing initiatives through data cleanup, list management, and campaign tracking
  • Analyzes lead data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improved performance
  • Collaborates with marketing and sales teams to improve lead management and conversion processes
  • Follows up with leads as appropriate to encourage continued engagement and conversion
  • Consistent and reliable on-site attendance
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Lead Generation Coordinator Minimum Qualifications
  • Associate degree in Business, Marketing, Data Analytics, Communications, or a related field required; bachelor's degree preferred
  • One (1) to three (3) years of experience in customer service, call center operations, lead coordination, sales support, or a related role
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience using CRM systems preferred
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple communication channels and priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, including Excel, and various web-based applications

Lead Generation Coordinator Physical Requirements
  • Pushing/Pulling/Lifting/Carrying up to 25 pounds without assistance
  • Physical ability to squat, twist, turn, bend, stoop, climb, and reach overhead
  • Must be able to work in wet, damp, dusty, or windy conditions and tolerate exposure to typical noises, hazardous materials, and fumes/odors
  • Physical ability to perform work for extended hours
  • Ability to adhere to personal protective equipment (PPE) policy and maintain individual PPE
