Job description

Your Impact 

BOTE is looking to fill the role for a Sales Associate responsible for executing industry-leading customer experiences across the business and increasing the satisfaction and lifetime value of our customers. This role is responsible for providing timely, exceptional support to the BOTE network of customers, while also identifying and capitalizing on ways to build lasting relationships with our customers that translate to value for the company. This individual will work in our Destin store as scheduled by the store General Manager. This role is sales and additional commission-based position.

What You'll Do 

  • Be the voice of the brand to our customers and exude the BOTE mission by putting the customer at the center of everything we do.
  • Serve as an advocate for our customers, be knowledgeable, confident and exude professional behaviors.
  • Open and close the business, being assigned direct access to enter and exit as a leader in the building, as directed by the store manager to effectively meet the needs of the business.
  • Learn the BOTE family of products, including Paddleboards, Kayaks, Skiffs, Docks, and all gear. Confidentially speak to customers intelligently about the products. 
  • Work with a sense of urgency to ensure that all customer inquiries are responded to and resolved appropriately according to the company's standard operating procedures.
  • Work on the sales floor and in the water to demonstrate how BOTE products are best utilized for performance and safety. Placing customers on the correct products with the ideal gear.
  • Build community by knowing who is visiting BOTE one customer at a time, planting seeds, and building customers for life.
  • Effectively process all transactions, not limited to sales/ returns/exchanges and warranty solutions maintaining data integrity.
  • Own the process for properly maintaining brand standards, general housekeeping, replenishment and visual merchandising, and product placement.
  • Lead customer engagement actions and behaviors, driving legendary experiences one customer at a time with great consistency, building a store community client base.
  • Be the lead contributor to delivering Sales Plans and all KPI results.
  • Be knowledgeable and confident with all store financials, procedures, and playbooks as they are created and implemented.

What You've Accomplished 

  • Equivalent related professional sales experience and open availability is reqired.
  • Direct experience in customer experience and delivering sales and KPI targets.
  • Experience working with premium brands delivering best in class experiences to both internal and external customers.
  • Excellent time management abilities with a proven ability to multi-task.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to excellence
  • Ability to work individually and in a team environment.
  • Strong computer skills and adaptability learning new software platforms and data management processes.
  • 1 year of retail or sales experience.
