Job description

We are seeking hard-working individuals like you to join our team. This is a System Engineering position that entails working with multi-functional groups to continually innovate the iPhone and iPad products. You will have an active engagement with the Hardware, Module and Design & Validation teams at Apple.
Description
Evaluate overall system design by crafting and conducting evaluation tests; applying knowledge of engineering fundamentals
Support Hardware teams in crafting the next-generation iPhones and iPad; build Failure Analysis reports
Be responsible for the optimization of the test processes
Make recommendations for coverage improvements
Develop benchmarking matrix by crafting or modifying automation scripts for building and assembling performance graphs
Work towards closing potential test gaps and build improvements to the scripts
Position involves supporting hardware development activities at manufacturing partner facilities
Preferred Qualifications
Masters Degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering
Prior working experience with prototype hardware and/or development boards is helpful
Developed automated test and measurement systems - Setup of environments optimized for test measurement
Comfortable working in a constantly evolving environment; Confirmed ability to work independently under high pressure and dynamic environment
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors in Electrical or Computer Engineering
3+ years of hands-on experience in prototype work and functional verification specifically with electronics
Proficient with lab equipment: digital multi-meter, spectrum analyzer, signal generator, oscilloscope, power supply, data logger, etc.
Prior experience with superb coding/scripting skills (Python, Perl, Shell, Unix)
Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $150,400 and $277,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
