Job description

Overview
The Data Manager / Business Data Lead will oversee all business-side data migration activities from the legacy Client's System to the new Oracle 19C On-Prem system. This role ensures data quality, integrity, and alignment with business rules and Fund requirements.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and coordinate all business data management activities related to data migration.
  • Collaborate with the System Integrator and data team to analyze, cleanse, and validate data.
  • Review, document, and approve data analysis, cleansing, and conversion deliverables.
  • Identify and resolve business data issues; oversee data profiling and quality assurance.
  • Define data governance procedures and ensure compliance with security/confidentiality standards.
  • Oversee documentation, audit materials, and training for staff.
  • Participate in design sessions to ensure data requirements meet business needs.
  • Monitor progress, report status, and manage risks for all data-related tasks.
  • Prepare and present deliverables such as Data Analysis Plan, Data Cleansing Reports, and Data Conversion Plan.
Required Skills & Experience
  • Minimum 5 years experience managing large-scale data migration or data management projects.
  • Deep understanding of pension or financial systems preferred.
  • Strong business analysis, data governance, and documentation skills.
  • Hands-on experience with Oracle databases, SQL, and data validation tools.
  • Strong project management and leadership abilities.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Certification
  • PMP certification required.
