Air Quality Student Intern

Our Air Quality Program has a part-time/student intern position available at our Baton Rouge office. This is a great opportunity for engineering majors looking to gain on-the-job experience. The primary responsibilities will be to assist in preparing air permit applications and other compliance documents, perform data analysis, maintain and develop spreadsheets, and basic report preparation. Weekly work schedule flexible to school commitments.

Qualifications and Skill Sets:

College coursework in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science, or another related engineering, environmental, or scientific field;
Must successfully complete required safety and on-the-job training;
Must be able to satisfy all Drug & Alcohol, Health & Safety, and Security requirements;
Working knowledge of MS Office programs, especially Excel spreadsheets;
Organized to prioritize tasks and schedules and manage changing deadlines;
Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and maintain successful client relationships;
Ability to communicate with clients and co-workers in a professional and courteous manner; and
Eager to excel as an individual and in a team environment.
