Job description

Job Summary:
eTeam is seeking a Data Integration Engineer to join their team delivering high-quality ETL and data-integration solutions to support Process Intelligence initiatives. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining ETL pipelines and data models that feed process-mining platforms.
Responsibilities:
• Lead design, development, and implementation of ETL processes and data models to integrate source data into a Process Intelligence platform (e.g., Celonis).
• Participate in analysis sessions and work with data analysts to document data mappings and ETL requirements.
• Build reliable, secure connections to source systems (JDBC, Kafka, APIs) and validate data ingestion.
• Implement and optimize ETL pipelines for performance, scalability, and data integrity.
• Design and implement audits and reconciliation processes to ensure data completeness and correctness from application platforms to the process-mining environment.
• Provide operational support for production ETL jobs; troubleshoot failures and performance issues.
• Define and enforce governance, access control, and best practices for process data and ETL artifacts.
• Collaborate with business, PM, BA, and infrastructure teams to enable continuous improvement and automation opportunities.
• Support Agile delivery (Scrum/Kanban) and contribute to planning, estimation, and delivery activities.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related technical field (or equivalent experience).
• 7 years of relevant experience in data integration, ETL development, or related software engineering roles.
• Strong SQL and PL/SQL skills (required).
• Proven experience designing and building ETL solutions and data models; strong analytical skills for interpreting complex datasets.
• Experience integrating data from ERP and enterprise systems (e.g., Oracle, PeopleSoft, Maximo) desirable.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills; experience working cross-functionally.
Preferred:
• Experience with Celonis process mining tools or Celonis Platform Administration (optional — nice to have).
• Experience with Apache Kafka and real-time streaming integrations. (optional — nice to have).
• Proficiency in Python or other scripting/programming languages for automation and data transformation.
• Familiarity with platform administration tasks (user governance, access control, monitoring) for process-mining platforms.
