Job description

  • Provide executive leadership and strategic direction for enterprise data, analytics, governance, and application integration capabilities
  • Establish and execute the enterprise data architecture and roadmap
  • Modernize platforms and integration services while strengthening data quality, security, and governance
  • Direct the strategy, design, and operations of modern cloud data lakes and data warehousing environments
  • Lead implementation and optimization of the Customer Data Platform to deliver unified customer views and optimize real-time customer experiences and marketing journeys
  • Partner with business units to deliver business intelligence, reporting tools, and predictive analytics capabilities
  • Lead the transition to and maturity of real-time application integrations using event-driven, pub-sub services
  • Ensure secure, scalable, low-latency data flows across enterprise systems and third-party applications
  • Establish and maintain enterprise-wide API standards and integration frameworks
  • Define and execute Master Data Management strategy and enterprise data governance programs
  • Partner with cybersecurity to enforce data privacy, security controls, and regulatory compliance
  • Define demand-gathering, backlog-tracking, prioritization, communication, requirements, data modeling, source data analysis, integration design, development, and end-to-end/user acceptance testing processes in an agile methodology
  • Drive consistent delivery quality across internal and consulting teams
  • Mentor and scale a multidisciplinary team of data engineers, architects, and governance specialists
  • Collaborate with the CIO and executive leadership to align the data roadmap with corporate growth goals
  • Manage CapEx/OpEx budgeting and strategic vendor and software relationships
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience
  • 12 years of progressive information technology experience required
  • 5 years in a senior leadership role within a mid-to-large organization preferred
  • Proven experience implementing large-scale cloud data platforms, data lakes, data warehouses, and event-driven architectures
  • Demonstrated success establishing data governance and master data management programs
  • Deep knowledge of enterprise data architecture, modern cloud data platforms, integration tools, customer data platforms, application programming interfaces, and data governance
  • Strong strategic planning, financial management, vendor management, and delivery prioritization skills
  • Ability to translate complex technical information into clear business value
  • Ability to influence senior leaders and align enterprise data strategy with business goals
  • Strong leadership and talent-development skills, with the ability to build and guide multidisciplinary technical teams
  • Ability to deliver secure, scalable, high-quality data and integration solutions across the organization
