The Enterprise Listening and Data Insights Lead is a senior enterprise-facing position responsible for developing the bank's strategy to measure and enhance the teammate, nonprofit and community experience. This senior level role oversees the design and execution of Truistโ€™s enterprise-wide listening strategy, including surveys and diagnostics that assess organizational health, behaviors, internal teammate experience, nonprofit and community needs assessments, and embedded listening mechanisms to deeply understand end to end experiences. This role is primarily responsible for translating complex data into insights to practical action to inform business performance, community/nonprofit engagement, strategic direction and enterprise program development.

Responsibilities include leading Truistโ€™s enterprise-wide internal and external listening strategy, including enterprise-owned and vendor led surveys, qualitative listening programs, and other community needs assessments, including listening instrument design, governance, risk management, vendor management, capability development, and dashboard analytics and reporting to drive recommended, scalable actions to enable performance.

Guided by organizational psychology, listening design, advanced analytics and behavioral insights, this position devises organizational health, teammate experience, culture, and community/nonprofit interventions to drive organizational behavior, engagement, volunteerism participation, organizational performance and community impact.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  1. 1. Lead the design, planning and execution of Truistโ€™s enterprise-wide internal and external listening strategy, including enterprise-owned and vendor led surveys, qualitative listening programs, needs assessments, embedded pulse check diagnostics, and other organizational health, culture, teammate experience, and community/nonprofit needs measurements.
  2. 2. Partner with, consult, and coach executives on how to address organizational health, behavior, teammate experience, and cultural opportunities and how to proactively support community and nonprofit needs, based on data-driven insights.
  3. 3. Lead the development and delivery of organizational health, teammate experience, culture and community metrics and dashboards to support strategic planning, enterprise actions, senior leader decision-making, and organizational performance.
  4. 4. Establish and lead the Listening Center of Excellence, ensuring alignment across the enterprise, by developing and managing an enterprise listening process, including intake, strategic and feasibility assessment, related guidelines and best practices, and engaging with lines of business to consult on approach, approval and governance processes, and provide effective challenge to senior leaders/key stakeholders, as appropriate
  5. 5. Manage major/complex listening and related analytics projects, programs, or processes that span multiple teams ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and alignment with enterprise business objectives, with a focus on internal corporate perspective and external benchmarks/performance best practices
  6. 6. Ensure effective and valid survey design, data integrity, compliance, and consistency across all listening platforms and deliverables, maintaining alignment with enterprise data privacy, ethics, and risk standards.
  7. 7. Develop executive level materials and narratives for various senior leader forums, translating complex listening insights, business inputs, and strategic objectives into clear, concise recommendations that support leadership decision making 8. Act as a peer leader across the Culture & Philanthropy team and key partners to align perspectives, assumptions, data insights, etc. and drive actions/business outputs with limited oversight.
  8. 9. Collaborate with senior stakeholders and cross-functional partner teams (e.g., HR, TD&O, DCXM, CRA, Corporate Communications), to embed listening in end-to-end teammate, business, and community experiences.
  9. 10. Analyze complex, cross-functional listening data to provide executives with comprehensive organizational health, teammate experience, culture, and community insights and actionable strategies. Leverage and apply behavioral science, industrial/organizational psychology, data analytics and performance frameworks to interpret findings and inform actions.
  10. 11. Effectively communicate complex findings to all audiences, providing data driven insights on how to drive performance through behavior change and organizational improvements
QUALIFICATIONS

Required Qualifications:

  1. 1. Bachelorโ€™s degree in Business, Finance, Data Science/Analytics or a related academic field, or equivalent education and related training or experience
  2. 2. Eight years of experience in organizational development, data analytics, culture, organizational health, employee experience
  3. 3. Strong listening instrument design, communication, data visualization, business acumen, influencing and negotiation abilities are required, as this role consults with executives and senior stakeholders, often without formal authority.
  4. 4. Proven track record leading comprehensive, enterprise-wide large-scale listening programs, including survey design, qualitative listening, pulse check diagnostics, community needs assessments, and embedded, always-on organizational listening
  5. 5. Deep expertise in quantitative data analysis, dashboard and reporting development and experience and community related needs assessments
  6. 6. Sophisticated analytical skills and a demonstrated ability to solve unique and highly complex cultural, organizational health, operational, business, community and organizational challenges
  7. 7. Ability to interact with a diverse set of business and technical teammates throughout the organization, as well as outside vendors supporting the systems
  8. 8. Exceptional ability to translate complex data into clear concise reporting dashboards, executive communications, actionable business and people strategies, and community engagement recommendations
  9. 9. Proven ability to manage complex, high-impact listening and analytics projects independently.
  10. 10. Leads, manages, develops business requirements, or performs in the consulting role for large or complex listening projects or initiatives
  11. 11. Excellent verbal, visual and written communication skills; including executive communication and development of materials for senior leadership and governance forums
  12. 12. Ability to navigate ambiguity, challenge assumptions, and influence stakeholders without authority, operating as a peer leader across multiple functions
