Data Governance Data Stewards are professionals responsible for managing and overseeing an organization's data assets to ensure data quality, consistency, security, and compliance with regulations. They define and enforce data standards, policies, and procedures, working closely with IT and business teams to ensure that data is accurate, accessible, and properly used throughout its lifecycle. Data Stewards play a key role in implementing data governance frameworks and act as the main point of contact for data-related questions and issues. Their work helps organizations maximize the value of their data while mitigating risks.
