Join our Team at Bearden-Josey center for Breast Health
Do you want to actively participate in enhancing the health and wellness of women in our community. At Bearden-Josey Center for Breast Health, we use the most advanced technology available to provide screening mammograms and aid in the detection and diagnosis of breast cancer. Join our team and become a part of supporting breast health in our Upstate communities.
Department Description
We are a comprehensive breast imaging center providing services across nine fixed locations and two Mobile Mammography Units. The expert and caring staff at Bearden-Josey Center for Breast Health are fellowship-trained, board-certified specialists who focus on breast health. We conduct hundreds of mammograms each week and diagnose and treat more than four hundred patients each year.
Under the supervision of a Radiologist, you will utilize specialized knowledge and skills to produce high-quality mammographic images for screening and/or diagnosis, invasive breast procedures, and DEXA exams for specified patient population.
As an imaging professional, you'll be aligned with the latest technology, evidence-based medicine, and clinical research.
Position Summary
Responsible for the coordination, collection, and entry of patient care data and results for the Mammography and Ultrasound sections of the Bearden-Josey Center for Breast Health. Data Control Clerk will also be responsible for assisting in documentation of QA/QC data and provide physician, regulatory, and accreditation/re-accreditation reports upon request. Liaison between the radiologist, health informatics and the registration areas to help coordinate the clerical responsibilities that enables the patient reports to be completed. Position will support tumor board and multi-
disciplinary team material compilation and presentation formatting, as requested and will be knowledgeable in and provide assistance to front-desk reception/registration operations

  • Must be meticulous with detail.
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently.
  • Must be able to type 65 words per minute with routine accuracy.
  • Must have good communication skills.
  • Must be able to respond calmly and efficiently in high stress situations.
  • Must be able to sit for long periods of time, entering data.
  • Must be able to work as a team member with other staff, doctors, departments, community, and other components.
  • Must have own transportation as position may require some travel.
  • Must be flexible in responsibilities and work schedule.
  • Must be self-directed and able to work without direct supervision.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds
