A Day in the Life
Socket is looking for an organized and talented Data Entry Specialist - Sales to join our team! This role is crucial to ensuring that our fiber orders and customer accounts are accurately entered, tracked, and fulfilled in a timely manner. Start the day by reviewing incoming sales orders and customer details, ensuring everything is accurate, complete, and ready to move forward. Throughout the day, enter and update customer information, verify service availability, and process fiber orders with speed and precision. Work closely with sales, customer care, and operations teams to resolve discrepancies and keep orders on track for installation. Every task supports a smooth transition from sale to service, helping bring high-speed fiber connectivity to customers while maintaining clean, reliable data behind the scenes.
This is an in-office position.
What You'll Do
Key responsibilities include:
  • Accurately submit and manage fiber orders in the Socket system
  • Create and maintain customer billing accounts
  • Occasionally coordinate and schedule with customers as needed
  • Ensure all order details and documentation are complete and accurate
  • Follow established workflows and company processes with consistency
  • Procure necessary components and services related to customer orders
  • Perform data entry with a high degree of accuracy
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with internal teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment
