Parrish & Heimbecker, Limited (P&H) has an opportunity for a motivated, forward-thinking, and dedicated individual as a Lab Data Entry Clerk for our Grain division based in Winnipeg, MB.P&H GrainThe P&H Grain Division is a comprehensive grain and crop input network, operating across approximately 45 locations in the prairie provinces, Ontario and Quebec. Our strategically positioned facilities, including grain elevators, rail sidings, inland terminals, and specialized export terminals, ensure that we effectively match producer grain with the needs of both domestic and export end users. As a full-service agri-retailer, we provide farming communities with a full range of quality crop input products and agronomic solutions, encompassing crop protection products, certified seeds, nutrients, and custom applications. Your Role
As Lab Data Entry Clerk, the successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with the accurate documentation of various test results on the quality and condition of grain samples for growers, traders and P&H’s various facilities. This position will assist the Quality Control Manager and Lab Technicians with additional duties as assigned.This Lab Data Entry Clerk is a is a contract role. You must be available to work from August to December 2026, Monday to Friday starting at 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. with occasional overtime or weekend hours.Day to Day
  • Reporting/logging detailed results of tests and samples
  • Responding to general questions via Quality Control inbox
  • Performing maintenance checks on equipment and log maintenance activities
Required Qualifications
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to identify and solve quality issues
  • Experience utilizing Excel
  • Effective communicator both written and verbal
  • Knowledge and basic comprehension of lab terminology is an asset
