About True Ground Housing Partners
True Ground Housing Partners (formerly APAH) was founded in 1989 by four families motivated to address affordable housing in Arlington, VA. Today, we have grown into one of the region's leading nonprofit affordable housing developers. Our rental communities provide affordable housing to more than 5,000 people in the Washington DC Metro Region for neighbors earning between 30% and 80% of the Area Median Income (AMI). True Ground exists to provide quality affordable housing and resident-centered programming to help our residents make the most of their home.
The VISTA member will aid in the refinement and execution of a Quality Assurance evaluation plan for the resident services team with the goal of enabling True Ground to meet residents' needs more effectively and efficiently. The VISTA will also gain exposure and experience with database management, data analysis, data visualization, and evaluation practices in a social work setting.
The VISTA member will support True Ground's Resident Services team by maintaining the Apricot 360 CRM database, including data entry, cleaning, dashboard monitoring, and tracking key metrics. They will conduct program evaluations, such as the Resident Needs Assessment, by developing surveys, analyzing data, and creating reports and visualizations for stakeholders. Additionally, the VISTA will contribute to our new Single Source of Truth Initiative and lead an independent project in a focus area like eviction prevention or food security. This role offers valuable experience in database management, data analysis, and program evaluation while contributing to True Ground's mission of providing impactful resident-centered services. This is a perfect opportunity for someone interested in starting or pivoting to a career in data analytics.
The ideal candidate is/has:
  • An Associates degree or higher preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office with an emphasis on Word, Outlook and Excel.
  • Strong organizational skills and is a conscientious self-starter.
  • Experience with data entry and has a strong attention to detail.
  • Flexible and dynamic; appreciation of True Ground's mission a must.
  • Regular access to a vehicle recommended

This is a full-time position. Workdays are Monday through Friday, with a total of 40 hours worked a week between the hours of 8 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. The True Ground Data Analyst VISTA will serve from August 10, 2026 until August 9, 2027.
Benefits
$50 per month gas stipend, provided bi-annually. Our corporate office in Ballston is metro friendly and features free parking.
