Data Entry and Word Processing

Location: Brooklyn, NY (11210) Shift Timings: Mon-Fri (9am-5pm) Pay: USD 16/hr – USD 17/hr

Position summary: Provides administrative and HR support by managing personnel records, processing appointments and reappointments, maintaining tracking systems and reports, assisting with time and leave administration, coordinating recruitment and personnel transactions, and ensuring accurate data management across multiple HR systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • This includes data entry, verification, report preparation, tracking and monitoring records, processing reappointments and appointment letters, maintaining spreadsheets and tracking systems, assisting with Time and Leave reports, generating notification letters, and supporting the review of contracts and personnel transactions to help ensure accurate entries into client's portal.
  • Support HRS by coordinating with academic departments and programs, organizing documentation, monitoring deadlines, and assisting with routine follow-up for adjunct, College Assistant, and classified staff personnel actions.
  • Ensure a seamless transition to client for the Recruitment Unit. Recruitment will require a specialist to support the maintenance of dual-system job posting integrity and operations in both clients.

Skills: MS Office experience is preferred, including use of Excel, Word, and Outlook.
