Job description

**10 Hour Night Shift Opportunity**
8:30pm-6:30am Sunday through Wednesday
 
Serigraph is seeking a skilled and motivated individual with experience operating a multi-color inline screen press. We are looking for a dedicated Multi-Color Screen Press Operator to set up and operate our equipment, ensuring the achievement of established productivity and quality standards. If you possess a strong grasp of press systems, controls, and terminology, as well as a commitment to safety and quality, we encourage you to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Review job tickets to understand production specifications and press setup requirements.

  • Operate multi-color presses and produce first-piece approvals independently.

  • Ensure press runs meet production and quality standards in accordance with procedures.

  • Conduct in-process checks, diagnose issues, and make necessary adjustments.

  • Supervise and coordinate the work of backup press operators and press assistants.

  • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on press equipment.

  • Assist with press tear-down, screen cleaning, and general press maintenance after production runs.

  • Follow all quality, environmental, and safety procedures and regulations.

  • Handle materials, including moving five-gallon ink pails and large screens (up to 75" x 87").

  • Perform press support tasks, such as racking printed materials and retrieving supplies.

What we are looking for:
  • Knowledge of proper safety, housekeeping, and personal protective equipment (PPE) practices.

  • Understanding of departmental procedures, policies, and work standards.

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Ability to read, interpret, and follow job tickets.

  • Basic computer skills and mechanical aptitude.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior machine operating experience in a manufacturing environment. 

  • Experience with the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system and data entry. 

  • Familiarity with Statistical Process Control (SPC) techniques.
