CareRx is looking for aย Pharmacy Assistant (Pharmacy Software/Kroll Data Entry)ย to join our Pharmacy team in supporting a group of LTC Homes and Retirement Communities. The Pharmacy Assistant will assist with the preparation, packaging and organization of medication deliveries, while supporting daily operations in accordance with the Pharmacy Standards of Practice.

Role Accountabilities:

  • Preparing, processing, and filling prescriptions using eMAR and Kroll pharmacy software, including handling refills and third-party adjudications.
  • Receiving, stocking, organizing, and maintaining inventory, including managing returns of expired products.
  • Preparing and ensuring timely delivery of prescriptions and labels to care facilities and retirement homes,
  • Managing supplies and performing other related administrative duties.
  • Responding to inquiries from nurses and healthcare providers, and directing calls to appropriate staff.
  • Ensuring accurate documentation, maintaining confidentiality, adhering to ethical standards, and contributing to a clean pharmacy environment
  • Assisting with various pharmacy operations, including potentially operating automated machines and compounding prescriptions under pharmacist supervision as well as consulting with management on unresolved issues.

What You Will Bring to The Team:

  • Experience as a Pharmacy Assistant or certification from an accredited Pharmacy Assistant program is preferred, but not required
  • Excellent working knowledge of Kroll and eMAR systems (Point Click Care, Catalyst, Med E Care)\
  • Competency with Microsoft Office software
  • Demonstrated ability to operate PACMed and PACVision machines
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to multi-tasking

    Compensation Range: $19 - $23/hour. Actual pay rate will be based on the individual candidateโ€™s credentials and experience.

    Location: This is on-site role at our London Pharmacyย and follows a five-day workweek.
