Job description

OverviewFountain Tire is looking for aย Part Time File Clerkย to support the Payroll Department at our South Edmonton Corporate Head Office. This is a 3-month contract position.ย This position has a strong emphasis on data entry and attention to detail. The successful candidate will work closely with the payroll team to ensure that all new hire processing and payroll filing is completed accurately and on time.ย

Key Responsibilities:ย 

  • Process new hires.
  • Update and maintain associate data in UKG.
  • Ensure sensitive employee information is filed appropriately and accurately.
  • Retrieve and locate files as requested.
  • Participate in all safety initiatives, as required or assigned, to guarantee safety at Fountain Tire.

What does it take to get on track?

  • High School Diploma and one year of experience in an office setting; a combination of education and experience may be considered
  • Strong data entry and record management skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Keen attention to detail; this includes ability to accurately file data alphabetically and numerically.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills in order to prioritize competing demands and meet strict deadlines.
  • Analytical problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues and recommend effective solutions.
  • Strong computer and reporting skills with an advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Demonstrated professionalism when dealing with confidential and sensitive associate information.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
