Position Overview

A&A Global Industries is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Human Resources Intern to support recruiting initiatives and core HR operations. This role offers hands-on experience in talent acquisition, onboarding, HR systems, compliance, and employee lifecycle processes. The ideal candidate is organized, professional, and eager to gain real-world HR experience in a fast-paced business environment. This internship is designed to provide meaningful exposure to strategic and operational HR functions, not just administrative work.

Key Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition Support Assist with posting and refreshing job openings across platforms Screen resumes against minimum qualifications Conduct initial candidate phone screens Coordinate interviews with hiring managers Maintain applicant tracking data within UKG Support background checks and pre-employment processes Help maintain an active pipeline for warehouse roles Onboarding & HR Administration Assist with new hire onboarding coordination Audit personnel files for compliance and completeness Support I-9 tracking and document organization Assist with HRIS data entry and system updates Help track handbook acknowledgments Support benefits & 401k Administration Reporting & Projects Assist with recruiting metrics reporting Track time-to-fill and applicant source effectiveness Participate in HR projects Qualifications Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Professional communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to handle confidential information with discretion Proficiency in Microsoft Office Interest in talent acquisition and HR operations Eligibility & Academic Credit Must be enrolled as a full‐time student in good academic standing at an accredited college or university for the duration of the internship Academic credit may be available at the discretion of the student's institution A&A Global Industries will cooperate with academic departments to provide required documentation What You Will Learn Real‐world recruiting and HR operations experience Exposure to HRIS systems and compliance processes Experience supporting both warehouse and corporate hiring Mentorship from an experienced HR leader Hands‐on participation in workforce planning and organizational development initiatives Approximately 40 hours per week $15 per hour College credit eligible In‐office position located in Cockeysville, Maryland Reports to the HR Manager Why Join A&A Global At A&A Global, interns are contributors, not observers.
