Job description

TCT Ministries is seeking a full-time, detail-oriented Program Data Coordinator to join its busy and growing Production team. The Program Data Coordinator is responsible for managing and maintaining the electronic program guide (EPG) for the TCT Television Network. This role ensures the accurate and timely input of programming schedules and metadata, offering viewers a seamless experience in accessing content. This is a fully on-site position located in Akron, Ohio. Typical hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. The position is eligible for health benefits, paid time off and participation in the organization's 403(b) retirement program.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Input and update program schedules, descriptions and metadata into the EPG system.
  • Verify the accuracy of program titles, times and details to ensure correct broadcast information.
  • Coordinate with Programming/Traffics/Production teams to ensure schedules align with broadcast timelines.
  • Write and proofread concise program descriptions that reflect the Christian network's values.
  • Monitor and ensure all EPG entries comply with regulatory standards and network guidelines.
  • Archive and maintain historical programming data for reference and reporting.
  • Liaise with external EPG providers and platforms to troubleshoot and resolve listing issues.
  • Work closely with marketing, production, and technical teams to integrate updates.
  • Perform routine checks on the EPG to ensure accuracy, correcting discrepancies as necessary.
  • Compile reports on schedule performance and viewer accessibility for management review.
  • Back up for Data Entry to Traffic Department as needed.


EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate or Bachelor's degree in communications, media, or a related field preferred.
  • Prior experience in broadcasting, scheduling, or clerical work is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of FCC or similar regulatory guidelines for broadcasting is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
