Job description

Work Type: Full time, onsite, contract to hire Compensation: $17-18/hr Responsibilities
  • Process vendor payable invoices and perform statement reconciliations.
  • Maintain reconciliation reports and investigate/resolution of invoice or payment discrepancies.
  • Monitor invoice aging and ensure timely processing of outstanding items.
  • Communicate with stores regarding shipment receipts and reconciliation-related matters while providing excellent customer service.
  • Meet reconciliation deadlines and maintain accuracy in all financial transactions.
  • Provide regular status updates and reporting to management.
  • Assist with special projects and support team members as needed.
  • Prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework or degree preferred.
  • Prior experience in purchasing, accounts payable, reconciliation, accounting, or customer service preferred.
  • General knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel and computer skills.
  • Ability to analyze data, identify variances, and resolve issues effectively.
