Job Summary
The Distribution Clerk provides administrative and clerical support for distribution center operations. This role is responsible for processing shipping and receiving paperwork, maintaining inventory records, coordinating transportation documentation, and ensuring accurate data entry to support efficient warehouse and logistics activities.
Key Responsibilities
  • Process and maintain shipping, receiving, and inventory records.
  • Enter and update data in warehouse management and inventory systems.
  • Prepare shipping documents, bills of lading, invoices, and delivery paperwork.
  • Coordinate with warehouse staff, carriers, and customers regarding shipments and deliveries.
  • Answer phone calls, emails, and inquiries related to distribution operations.
  • Monitor inventory reports and assist with resolving discrepancies.
  • File and organize distribution records and documents.
  • Schedule deliveries and track outbound shipments.
  • Generate reports for management on inventory, shipping, and receiving activities.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
