General Manufacturing Positions
Hourly rates $22.00 to $25.00 per hour
Shifts: 1st, 2nd, 3rd, (8-hours)
12-hour EO schedules (7am - 7pm, or 7pm - 7 am)
Overview
Available open positions may be in multiple departments. A summary of types of work to be performed may include overhead crane operation, de-stacker operator, packer, bander operator, material handler and various industrial equipment operators. Employees may have responsibilities for setting up and maintaining manufacturing equipment involved in the extrusion of aluminum alloys.
Potential Job Responsibilities
  • Performs production duties such as manual lifting, packaging, wrapping, and sorting
  • Installs dies, dummy blocks, shear blades, bolsters, containers, other press tools, and press operation
  • Preparing, assembling, and installing casting materials and equipment
  • Assembling finished good bundles
  • Staging and loading outgoing product using overhead crane and / or forklift
  • Reviews and follows all Standard Operating procedures for processes
  • Ensures that all quality objectives are followed and met
  • Identifies and reports all unusual conditions or defects of product
  • Records daily production activity, reviews customer order information using computer-based programs and software
  • Maintains department 5S condition
  • Actively works to correct any unsafe conditions
  • Completes Preventative Maintenance tasks as assigned
  • Participates in problem-solving activities within teams for improvements
  • Uses lean tools to drive safety, quality and productivity improvement
  • Performs other required tasks as assigned.

Job Requirements
  • Minimum 1-2 years manufacturing experience
  • Ability to work in extreme weather conditions, hot and cold
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Take and record measurements accurately using tape measure
