Job description

Position Summary:

Receives, proofs, edits, costs and manually keys customer purchase orders into AS400.


Position Responsibilities:

· Review, proof, edit, and accurately enter customer purchase orders into AS400.

· Confirm availability of frames, fabrics, parts, and related materials needed for order scheduling.

· Maintain daily order entry productivity goals while ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.

· Communicate order questions, discrepancies, or missing information to the appropriate team members for resolution.

· Crosstrain within the Order Entry department to support team coverage and shared workload needs.

· Follow applicable statements of work, department procedures, and company guidelines when completing assigned tasks.

· Perform other duties as required to support the Order Entry team and Account Relations department.

Essential Skills and Experience:

• Strong data entry skills with the ability to enter information accurately and efficiently.

• Experience with furniture order entry, product information, or related furniture industry data preferred.

• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• Self-motivated and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

• Ability to work collaboratively with team members to meet daily and weekly department goals.

• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

• General knowledge of furniture manufacturing processes, terminology, and materials preferred.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and ability to learn internal business systems.

Valued but not Required Skills and Experience:

• 2-Year Associates Degree preferred.



Physical demands and work environment:

• Ability to lift and carry up to 10 pounds frequently and up to 35 pounds occasionally; heavier items require assistance or team lifting.

• Ability to sit for extended periods while also standing and walking as needed throughout the workday.
