Job description

Job description - An order entry specialist accurately inputs customer purchases, verifies order details, and coordinates with shipping teams. This role ensures timely data entry, fixes pricing errors, and supports smooth customer service. This person will also be responsible for fielding phone calls and providing administrative support to the sales and operations departments.

We are offering full-time positions with standard hours of Monday thru Friday, 7:30am - 4:00pm. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Data Input: Enter high volumes of customer orders and changes into the company's ERP system.
  • Order Review: Check pricing, quantities, items, and delivery rules.
  • Problem Solving: Fix issues with billing, backorders, or wrong items.
  • Teamwork: Talk with sales, warehouse, and finance staff to speed up shipping.
  • Record Keeping: Update client files and filing of fulfilled purchase orders.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Education: High school diploma or GED.
  • Typing & Accuracy: Fast typing speed with high accuracy (often 99% or better).
  • Software Knowledge: Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel and Outlook) and database systems.
  • ERP Systems: Familiarity with enterprise software like SAGE, SAP, Oracle, or Salesforce is a plus.
  • Soft Skills: Good communication, strong organization, and focus on details, ability to answer phone calls in a professional manner to offer customer service or direct call to correct department

Job Types: Full-time 7:30am - 4:00pm M-F (30 minute unpaid lunch)

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
