Job Summary:
HireTalent is a staffing and recruiting firm seeking a Data Warehouse Analyst. The ideal candidate will be responsible for gathering requirements, analyzing solutions, and implementing changes in a data warehouse environment while developing and maintaining customer reporting in BI tools.
Responsibilities:
• Responsible for the development, implementation, enhancement support of operational and customer reporting information
• Proficient in SQL
• Mine large datasets and draw actionable insights
• Work to align data set attributes/fields across different systems to ensure common connection points are in place when connecting, and blending data sets.
• Support developing and maintaining ongoing customer required reporting in various BI tools (WebFocus/Tableau)
• Mine and analyze large datasets, draw valid inferences and present them successfully to management using a reporting tool.
• Understanding of statistical principles, and able to apply them in data analytics Develop records management processes and policies
• Identify areas to increase efficiency and automation of processes
• Identify, evaluate and implement external services and tools to support data validation and cleansing.
• Document current contents of data warehouse including plain-English descriptions and mapping back to data entry screens.
• Prepare requirements for new data warehouse table/structure, including summary information optimized for reporting.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Extensive experience in a data warehouse environment facilitating requirements gathering session
• Documenting requirements
• Analyzing and evaluating possible solutions to meet requirements
• Evaluates existing systems and/or user needs to analyze, design, recommend, and implement information system changes
• Experience developing and maintaining ongoing customer required reporting in various BI tools (WebFocus/Tableau)
• 5 to 8 years of relevant work experience
• Proficient in SQL
• Mine large datasets and draw actionable insights
