Data Entry Specialist
Location: On-site, Cleveland, OH 44106
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
Pay Rate: $20.00/hour
Assignment Length: 9 months (FMLA coverage)
Start Date: Immediately
Position Overview
Great opportunity to join a large healthcare system supporting supply chain and inventory operations. This role combines data entry, document processing, and daily movement throughout the healthcare campus. You'll play a key part in keeping inventory records accurate and operations running smoothly.
Must-Haves

  • Fast and accurate keyboarding skills (data entry or typing experience required)
  • Experience with transcription or stenography preferred
  • Familiarity with medical terminology is a plus
  • Ability to walk throughout the campus multiple times per day, including uphill/downhill routes
  • Strong communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
What You'll Do
  • Retrieve supply chain and inventory paperwork from multiple hospital locations (3 times daily)
  • Enter collected data accurately into the system
  • Maintain and retain documentation after entry
  • Create and monitor computerized floor par levels across hospital departments
  • Process daily pick tickets and receipts
  • Handle electronic order processing for direct order items
  • Review reports to ensure orders are transmitted and received correctly
  • Partner with team members to support workflows during staffing gaps
  • Build positive relationships with staff and contribute to a team-focused environment
Education & Experience
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • 2+ years working in a computerized environment preferred

Physical Requirements
  • Frequent walking throughout the healthcare campus
  • Sitting for extended periods during data entry
  • Occasional lifting (up to 20 lbs.)
  • Frequent repetitive hand movements (keyboard use)
