Job description

Syndeo Staffing has a direct hire opportunity for an Order Entry Administrator to join a family-owned ag-fertilizer supply company. The Order Entry Administrator will be responsible for entering new orders accurately and timely and providing exceptional customer service to customers and co-workers.
Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Receive and process incoming orders.
  • Informing customers of receipt, prices, shipping dates, delays, and handling complaints.
  • Distribute production schedules or work orders to departments.
  • Revise production schedules when required due to changes, labor or material shortages, backlogs, or other interruptions.
  • Review production schedules and work orders to determine personnel or materials requirements or material priorities.
  • Arrange for delivery, assembly, or distribution of supplies or parts to expedite and meet production schedules.
  • Assimilate information from a customer's request and input data into proprietary software with accuracy and data integrity.
  • Perform comparative analyses of different data sources to correctly fulfill order requirements considering plant procedures and inventory requirements.
  • Collaborate with other team members, including the Procurement & Inventory Manager and VP of Operations, to ensure a cohesive and seamless customer experience.
  • Develop a deep understanding of our products, services, and processes to provide accurate and helpful information to customers.
  • Provide outstanding customer service support by responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues or complaints efficiently.
  • Continuously update knowledge of industry trends and utilize best practices for effective customer service and order entry.

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate's degree in Agriculture, Business, or related field preferred. Experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Proven working experience or similar role within a manufacturing environment or equivalent.
  • Experience in Fertilizer or Agriculture preferred.
  • Strong data entry skills with high accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Proven ability with Microsoft Office and Data Entry Software.
  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented environment.
  • Proactive attitude and excellent ability to multi-task.

Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM
Pay: $18 - $22 DOE
