Schedule: Monday - Friday, 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM (2nd shift)

Job Description:

Position Overview

  • Must have a typing test attached with the resume.
  • Resume must reflect relevant work experience.
  • Candidates will be required to take a typing test.
  • Provide high-speed manual key data entry and verification from incoming digital images.
  • Validate document classification, extracted data, and redactions from digital documents.
  • Perform metadata indexing and quality control of digitized documents.
  • Validate incoming check data and perform check batch reconciliation.
  • Process check amount account distributions as required by the customer.

Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2 years of related work experience.
  • Familiarity with personal computers.
  • Basic knowledge of ten-key and keyboard skills.
  • Excellent written and communication skills.
  • Ability to perform analysis and problem solving.
  • Detail-oriented.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and maintain positive, productive relationships with co-workers, other departments, and management.

Responsibilities
Data Entry & Document Processing
  • Provide high-speed manual key data entry and verification from incoming hardcopy documents.
  • Accurately enter hardcopy documents into the Unbiased Data Entry Software.
  • Maintain a production rate of up to 15,000 keystrokes per hour.
  • Validate automatically classified digital documents and correct exceptions as necessary.
  • Validate automatically extracted data from digital documents and make corrections as necessary.
  • Validate automatically applied redactions and correct exceptions as necessary.
  • Manually enter metadata index information from digital documents.

Check Processing
  • Validate incoming check data.
  • Perform check batch total reconciliation.
  • Process check amount account distribution as required by the customer.
  • Analyze digital checks and accompanying coupons/documentation to ensure:
    • Proper payee information
    • Valid check date
    • Required signature
  • Make corrections according to policy and procedures.
  • Generate Check Return Letters when required.
  • Analyze automatically extracted check CAR/LAR amounts and make corrections as necessary.
  • Ensure fiscal control of check batches.
  • Research and analyze check distributions as required by the customer.

Quality Control
  • Perform quality control of documents converted to digital format.
  • Compare hardcopy documents to digitally converted versions to ensure customer-required quality.
  • Meet deadlines while maintaining quality and error-free work.
  • Achieve productivity standards established by the BSS BPO Manager.
  • Achieve accuracy standards established by the BSS BPO Manager.

General Responsibilities
  • Complete all paperwork accurately, legibly, and in a timely manner.
  • Read and write in English.
  • Adapt to changing situations and remain flexible.
