We are looking for an accounting clerk at our corporate location. We are seeking a self-motivated individual that has strong verbal and written communication skills, excellent organization skills, is results driven with the ability to work independently and multitask.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide accounting and clerical support to the accounting department.
  • Conducts routine data entry management for accounting records including accounts payable, billing and accounts receivable.
  • Reviews, billing statements, invoices, and similar documents for accuracy; alerts supervisory staff of any discrepancies.
  • Type accurately, prepare, and maintain accounting documents and records.
  • Daily enter key data of financial transactions in database.
  • Help and support to company personnel.
  • Research, track, and restore accounting or documentation problems and discrepancies.
    Inform management and compile reports/summaries on activity areas.
  • Function in accordance with established standards, procedures, and applicable laws.
  • Communicate with clients concerning delinquency and/or billing issues.
  • Performs other related duties as necessary or assigned.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent and 2 to 3 years of accounting experience.
  • Familiarity with bookkeeping and basic accounting procedures.
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite including Excel and Word
  • Authorized to work for any employer in the United States.
  • Valid driver's license.

Preferred:

  • Associate's degree or relevant certification.
  • Experience working in Acumatica.
