We are looking for an accounting clerk at our corporate location. We are seeking a self-motivated individual that has strong verbal and written communication skills, excellent organization skills, is results driven with the ability to work independently and multitask.
Responsibilities:
- Provide accounting and clerical support to the accounting department.
- Conducts routine data entry management for accounting records including accounts payable, billing and accounts receivable.
- Reviews, billing statements, invoices, and similar documents for accuracy; alerts supervisory staff of any discrepancies.
- Type accurately, prepare, and maintain accounting documents and records.
- Daily enter key data of financial transactions in database.
- Help and support to company personnel.
- Research, track, and restore accounting or documentation problems and discrepancies.
Inform management and compile reports/summaries on activity areas. - Function in accordance with established standards, procedures, and applicable laws.
- Communicate with clients concerning delinquency and/or billing issues.
- Performs other related duties as necessary or assigned.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent and 2 to 3 years of accounting experience.
- Familiarity with bookkeeping and basic accounting procedures.
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite including Excel and Word
- Authorized to work for any employer in the United States.
- Valid driver's license.
Preferred:
- Associate's degree or relevant certification.
- Experience working in Acumatica.
