Job description

The Accounting Clerk will provide information to other departments and outside agencies as required.

This is a part-time role - Monday thorugh Friday, 32hours/week. This role is eligible for full benefits. 

 What You'll Do:

  • Perform accounting/finance functions in AP, AR and Invoicing.
  • Perform clerical duties such as filing, scanning and assisting in the office as needed.
  • Data entry for appropriate financial recordkeeping.
  • Maintain open items file on invoice disputes, follow-up and reconcile. This includes chargebacks, unearned discounts or other discrepancy, freight shortages, pricing disputes, open freight claims, etc, until closed
  • Assist with audits and inventory as needed.
  • Scan invoices received from vendors and save them into the appropriate AP file
  • Perform any and all other job related tasks as assigned

  • Minimum of one year accounting experience preferred.  Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Excel, and Word. Proficient in office functions; organized attention to detail a must.
