Job description

Adecco Staffing is seeking Print & Mail Production Operators for a fast-paced production and mail-processing company in Portland, Maine. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with weekly pay.

Location: Portland, ME

Schedule & Pay
  • 2nd Shift: Monday–Friday, 3:30 PM–12:00 AM | $21/hour
  • 3rd Shift: Monday–Thursday, 6:00 PM–4:30 AM | $22/hour
What You'll Do
  • Operate high-speed printing and mail-inserting equipment
  • Set up machines according to job specifications and production schedules
  • Load paper, envelopes and other materials into equipment
  • Monitor machine performance and production output
  • Perform quality checks to ensure printed materials and mail pieces are accurate
  • Clear minor jams and assist with basic machine troubleshooting
  • Complete production logs and required paperwork
  • Sort, package and hand-finish materials as needed
  • Prepare completed mail for shipment
  • Maintain a clean, organized and safe work area
What We're Looking For
  • Previous machine operation, manufacturing or production experience preferred
  • Printing, mailing or equipment operation experience is a plus
  • Ability to read and write in English
  • Basic computer, data entry and math skills
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and production specifications
  • Comfortable working around production machinery
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally
  • Able to stand, bend, reach, push and pull throughout the shift
  • Reliable attendance and strong work ethic

Pay Details: $20.00 to $22.00 per hour
