Job description

Introduction

The Guest Services Associate plays a vital role in creating a welcoming and positive experience for all guests at the Greensboro Science Center. As one of the first points of contact, this position requires excellent communication skills, a professional demeanor, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Associates assist guests with general inquiries, ticket and membership sales, and carousel operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service. Additionally, they support the check-in process for group visits, helping coordinate large parties and school groups to ensure a seamless entry experience. This role requires availability on weekdays, weekends, and holidays, as the Greensboro Science Center operates year-round with the exception of New Year's Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day.
