Position Summary

The Texas Business Center, located in Denton, TX just north of Dallas and Fort Worth, is seeking a dynamic and talented Payment Specialist. The Payment Writer/Biller is responsible for writing up payments, entering notes into system and preparing and reviewing reports for cash balancing. Maintaining accurate cash logs, reviewing accounts financial transactions and communication with appropriate departments including CFO.

Qualifications

Education: High school graduate or equivalent preferred.

Experience: A minimum of two (1) years experience in insurance billing and CPT coding. Any combination of education, training, or experience in a hospital business office. Experience with billing, computers, and business software programs (Excel) preferred.

Additional Requirements: This position may require flexible hours, to include overtime.
