Job Description:

Savannah Tech is looking for Seasonal Admissions Assistants to provide administrative and customer service support to the Admissions Office by assisting prospective and current students throughout the admissions process. This position plays a vital role in ensuring applicants receive timely, accurate, and professional assistance.
Key Responsibilities
  • Welcome and assist prospective students, visitors, and campus guests.
  • Respond to inquiries by phone, email, and in person regarding admissions requirements and application procedures.
  • Process student applications and prepare admissions files.
  • Schedule placement and admissions testing.
  • Maintain admissions materials and office supplies.
  • Provide general administrative support to the Admissions Office.
  • Assist with registration, graduation, and special enrollment events.
  • Stay current on admissions policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Physical Demands
Work is typically performed in an office environment with intermittent sitting, standing, and walking. The employeefrequentlybends,liftsand carries lightweight objects up to 25 pounds. A full range of hand and finger motion isrequiredfor data entry purposes.
Salary/Benefits
Salary iscommensuratewith education and work experience. This is a temporary, seasonal position. Seasonal employees are not eligible for state employee benefits, including health insurance, paid leave, certain retirement benefits, or holiday pay, unless otherwise required by law or applicable policy.
