Job description

Position Summary:
The Customer Service / Customer Account Coordinator is responsible for coordinating customer activities throughout the order process, including quoting, order entry, scheduling, and customer communication. This role works closely with multiple departments to ensure customers receive high-quality products on time while providing exceptional customer service.

Essential Functions:
  • Coordinate and manage customer activities, including quoting, order processing, scheduling, and customer support.
  • Prepare and provide accurate price quotations for new and existing assemblies.
  • Enter, schedule, and monitor customer orders within the ERP system (SyteLine).
  • Maintain accurate customer and order information through timely data entry.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for daily customer communication regarding orders, lead times, and product inquiries.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Production, Purchasing, Document Control, and Stockroom personnel to ensure on-time delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor order status and proactively communicate updates or potential issues to customers.
  • Assist with resolving customer concerns in a professional and timely manner.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Previous customer service or customer support experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word.
  • Experience with an ERP system; SyteLine experience is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
