Position Summary
This position delivers superior internal and external service via phone and email communication. Our verifications team contacts employers, schools and references for the purpose of verifying information reported on an applicant's job application or resume. The information obtained is then entered into our company database. By verifying information provided by an applicant, we're able to help our clients make an informed hiring decision.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
This position includes the following responsibilities. Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.
    Retrieve verification of required information for applicant processing utilizing established protocols
    Performs data entry using word processing, spreadsheet or database commands; formats material as required
    Requires ability to complete accurate and timely records research and documentation
    Perform quality work within deadlines with or without direct supervision
    Work accurately and effectively as a team contributor on all assignments
    Strong keyboard skills with complete accuracy required on all inputted data
    Requires basic clerical duties and ability to maintain organized work area
    Consistently meets the established daily quota for the Verification Specialist position
    May be requested to work in other areas of the department as company work flow dictates
Qualification/ Requirements
    Excellent verbal communication skills, including good grammar, voice and diction
    Must be computer literate with a working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheets and databases
    Must be detail-oriented, able to follow up and pay close attention to accuracy
    Ability to properly handle confidential information and records
    Ability to analyze information gathered in order to identify potential problems or discrepancies
    Basic business writing skills
    Moderate research skills
Supervisory Responsibility
    This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
    The position is a full-time position with the hours of 10:00am - 7:00pm or 11:00am - 8:00pm Monday thru Friday.
