Job Description:
Job Title: Records Production Coordinator
Position Summary:
Magna Legal Services is seeking a Records Production Coordinator to join our team in Riverside, CA. In this role, you will perform a variety of clerical related duties, to assist us in obtaining medical and business records for our clients (law firms and insurance companies) to use either in pending or ongoing litigation. Our ideal candidate will be a team player who can work in a fast-paced environment, will have high attention to detail, can function independently, and is reliable in work attendance.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Scanning documents
  • Using Adobe programs to merge/create pdf's to completed packets for client production
  • Extracting or duplicating radiology CD's with DICOMs for client use
  • General data entry and updating files
  • Uploading files to and downloading files from websites
  • Possibly Making phone calls to and receiving calls from medical facilities
  • Possibly Matching incoming faxes and mail to the corresponding paperwork

Qualifications:
  • At least 1-2 years relevant work experience (i.e. general clerical work in an office setting, although a legal or medical background is strongly preferred)
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office programs
  • Familiarity with Adobe Acrobat
  • The ability to type at least 30 wpm
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Knowledge of HIPAA (the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) is preferred but not required

Compensation: USD $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
