Description
As a Senior Data Architect, you will define and enable a scalable, business-ready data foundation for the organization. This role sets the vision for how data is structured, accessed, governed, and applied to business decision-making, particularly within transportation and trucking logistics. You will deliver a concise set of high-confidence, executive-ready reports while reducing reliance on high-maintenance operational reporting. You will also lead and develop the Data Analyst team and build scalable, well-modeled datasets that can support advanced analytics, machine learning, and emerging AI/agentic workflows.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Define and maintain the enterprise data architecture that supports scalable, structured, and reliable analytics
  • Establish data standards, frameworks, and governance to ensure consistency, quality, and usability across the organization
  • Set the vision for how data is used to support business strategy and decision-making, partnering with leaders across the business
  • Lead, coach, and oversee the Data Analyst team; set priorities, remove blockers, and ensure timely delivery of business insights
  • Deliver executive-level reports and dashboards that are accurate, trusted, and require little to no ongoing maintenance
  • Rationalize and reduce operational reporting to a small, standardized core set, improving consistency and reducing support burden
  • Gradually shift legacy, high-maintenance reporting into a scalable data model and governed semantic layer
  • Serve as the bridge between technical data teams and business stakeholders, translating requirements into durable data products
  • Design datasets and data access patterns that can be leveraged by machine learning solutions and AI/agentic workflows at scale

  • Bachelor's degree in a data-focused discipline or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years relevant experience (transportation/logistics experience preferred
