Job description

Data Engineer (Salesforce)

Job Location: Menlo Park, CA

Job Type: Full-Time / Contract

Responsibilities:

  • Reporting to the Sr. Manager of Data Engineering- Marketing Analytics, automating and providing data for marketing group at SFDC (optimizing marketing campaign performance)
  • Understand requirements and build social API's to extract/transform/load data as required and automate the process (from social media channels)
  • Lead by example - design, develop and deliver quality solutions.
  • You are passionate about crafting clean code and have a steady foundation in coding and building data pipeline.

Must-haves:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5+ years' experience coding in python
  • Extensive hands-on experience in designing and developing high volume web services using API Protocols and Data Formats (REST, JSON, SOAP & XML)
  • 5+ years SQL query writing and data understanding
  • Excellent experience working in distributed environments
  • Experience integrating with 3rd party APIs
  • Experienced with Git / GitHub
  • Experience implementing and managing Python open-source data tooling such as Airflow, DBT, SQL Alchemy, pandas, Jupyter.

Plusses:

  • Experience with social data such as LinkedIn, Twitter etc, and working with data (ETL, processing)
  • Salesforce experience
