Job description

Yamaha is looking for a Digital Data Analyst (with Tableau experience) to join our Digital Transformation Team in Kennesaw, GA. This role will be responsible for building analytics foundations while delivering clear, actionable insights across digital channels. (Note: Relocation is not being offered at this time)
What You'll Be Doing:
  • Own and evolve digital analytics strategy across behavioral, transactional, and customer data, leveraging Google Analytics (GA4) alongside enterprise data sources to ensure accurate tracking, tagging strategy, event design, data integrity, and consistency across digital properties.
  • Build dashboards and reporting in Tableau that drive decision-making across marketing, product, and leadership.
  • Identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities that inform product, marketing, and customer experience strategy.
  • Analyze customer behavior, funnels, engagement, and conversion across web and digital experiences.
  • Translate complex data into clear narratives for executives and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Define KPIs and measurement frameworks aligned to business goals (growth, retention, CLV.
  • Partner with data engineering and personalization teams to ensure analytics feeds activation and experimentation. Partnering with engineering and architecture teams to ensure analytics instrumentation is designed and implemented from the start.
  • Lead monthly analytics and insights presentations to executive stakeholders, translating findings into clear, actionable recommendations.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

What You Need to be Successful:
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, analytics, or a related field.
  • 3-5+ years in digital analytics, insights, or measurement roles, with deep hands-on experience in modern, event-driven analytics environments.
  • Strong experience building clear, actionable dashboards and insights in Tableau.
  • Minimum 2-3 years hands-on experience with Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager and experience using BigQuery for data ingestion, including event taxonomy and advanced analysis.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to explain complex data clearly.
  • Must be able to interpret and translate complex data findings into clear, actionable insights, and recommendations.
