Description:

Do you…

Have the desire to learn?

Have the drive to excel and thrive in a dynamic, collaborative environment?

Have a passion for engineering but are still considering multiple disciplines?

Want to make buildings operate more efficiently?

Maybe what you need is a hands-on experience to uncover your true calling! On-the-job training with Engineering Economics, Inc.’s (EEI) experienced engineers in Building Commissioning, Engineering Efficiency, Green Building Certifications or Construction Cx Process Management will prepare you for future success with actual career experience before graduation.

Commissioning (Cx) is a research-supported process that ensures buildings are constructed and delivered according to the Owner’s Project Requirements (OPR) and contract documents. Cx increases the efficiency of facility operations and provides baselines for energy consumption. The results are reduced operation costs, improved indoor air quality, and increased sustainability. If these results align with your career values, EEI’s internship program will allow you to create real impacts on the built environment while supporting your current career as a student.

As an EEI intern, you will be an integral member of our team and contribute your knowledge, skills, and abilities to multiple projects. Our engineers will expose you to what it’s like to work in a commissioning organization. In turn, we anticipate that you’ll play an essential role in achieving project goals. Throughout your internship, you’ll learn from our top technical staff, leverage best practices, forge lasting industry relationships, and gain invaluable real-world experience that will differentiate you from your fellow students. If you are ready to kick-start your engineering career with an industry leader, look no further! EEI’s culture thrives on technical expertise, fosters creative solutions, embraces diversity, and celebrates value additive solutions. The -prospective engineer Intern will assist with various projects to support our teams in Golden, CO, Seattle, WA, Columbus, OH, Phoenix, AZ, Albuquerque, NM and Milwaukee, WI.
