Web Applications Programmer - Entry Level

Location: Tallahassee, Florida
Duration: 1 Month with Possible Extension
Position Type: Contract


Job Summary

We are seeking an Entry-Level Web Applications Programmer to support modernization initiatives, data analysis activities, reporting environments, and web-based application enhancements within a collaborative technology environment.

The ideal candidate will assist with gathering and analyzing business requirements, supporting system enhancements, developing dashboards and reports, maintaining project documentation, and supporting web and data integration initiatives. This role is ideal for candidates with foundational experience in application development, business analysis, and data visualization technologies who are eager to expand their technical expertise.


Key Responsibilities
  • Gather and analyze data to identify business needs and system requirements
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scopes and develop functional specifications
  • Support communication and coordination across project teams to ensure alignment with business goals
  • Perform process modeling and assist with prototype development
  • Recommend workflow improvements and system enhancement opportunities
  • Design and support interactive dashboards using data visualization tools such as Power BI
  • Perform data cleansing, transformation, and integration of multiple data sources
  • Monitor dashboard and system performance while addressing user feedback and enhancement requests
  • Assist with project documentation including:
    • Requirements
    • Objectives
    • Deliverables
    • Risks and mitigation strategies
    • Workflow documentation
  • Support testing activities for system changes and enhancements
  • Prepare test scenarios and validate testing results
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot basic software and application issues
  • Maintain support and issue tracking records
  • Assist in maintaining automated reports and reporting environments
  • Support modernization initiatives and continuous improvement activities
  • Learn and work with platforms such as:

Required Qualifications
  • Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in:
