Job Title: Middle School Teacher
Primary Role
The Middle School Teacher provides instruction, classroom management, and academic support to students in alignment with district and state standards. This role maintains accurate gradebooks, attendance, and Google Classroom updates while ensuring compliance with IEPs, 504s, ILPs, and health plans. The teacher participates in team, department, and staff meetings, communicates regularly with families, and upholds test security and mandated reporting responsibilities. By fostering a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment, the Middle School Teacher supports student growth, achievement, and well-being.

- Plan, deliver, and assess curriculum-based instruction aligned with district and state standards.
- Maintain effective classroom management practices to foster a safe, respectful, and engaging learning environment.
- Keep gradebooks accurate and up to date, reflecting student knowledge and progress.
- Record and monitor daily student attendance in compliance with district policies.
- Implement PBIS strategies and follow the student handbook to support positive behavior and consistent expectations.
- Ensure compliance with all IEPs, 504 plans, Individual Learning Plans (ILPs), and student health plans.
- Maintain test security and uphold the integrity of all state and district assessments.
