Currently operating in over 15 markets, readers can stay up to date with the latest culturally-relevant news and developments on men's fashion.
Hypebeast is seeking a passionate Editorial Intern to join the team. This role revolves around creating engaging cultural content primarily in the fashion, footwear, art, music, and design spaces. The internship will involve writing news stories, curating social media posts, and some additional project management responsibilities. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the world of journalism and social media curation centered around contemporary culture.
Responsibilities:
  • Research and write compelling news articles on contemporary culture.
  • Curate, write and schedule engaging social media posts across Hypebeast's platforms.
  • Learn social media trends and audience engagement to optimize content strategy.
  • Collaborate with the editorial team to align social media content with ongoing stories and features.
  • Support the team in brainstorming and pitching new content ideas.
  • Participate in editorial meetings and contribute to the overall content strategy.
  • Support operations and project management by maintaining project trackers and assisting with team communications. across editorial and event initiatives including Print Magazine and Tentpole events / IP.

Requirements:
  • Strong interest in contemporary culture.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and content strategies.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Strong research skills and the ability to identify credible sources.

$19 - $20 an hour
The expected salary range for this role is USD 19-20/hour. The salary range is subject to change and may be amended in the future. Experience, education, relevant skill set, location and other factors are considered when determining the salary offered.
