Job description

AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. In other words, we're the people who keep the cloud running. We support all AWS data centers and all of the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that ensure our customers have continual access to the innovation they rely on. We work on the most challenging problems, with thousands of variables impacting the supply chain - and we're looking for talented people who want to help.

And you'll experience an inclusive culture that welcomes bold ideas and empowers you to own them to completion.
The Data Center Field Engineering Team is the engineering owner for the lifecycle of AWS data centers. This includes supporting new designs/innovations through data center end-of-life, with a focus on root cause analysis of failures, capacity and availability improvement, and optimization of the existing fleet.
As a Data Center Asset & Documentation Coordinator, you are highly organized, detail-oriented, and an effective communicator, both written and verbally. This role requires both effective contributions as well as the ability to work within multi-disciplinary teams. As part of the global FE Portfolio team, you will help drive global processes and document development. This role acts as the gatekeeper for mission critical data in PLM, responsible for the accuracy and reports produced in PLM through MBOMs.
You will work closely with Field Engineers, operations staff, and cross-functional partners to ensure that asset and spare part documentation is accurate and usable. You must be skilled at asking relevant questions, gaining alignment from the right stakeholders, and driving clarity when information is missing or incorrect. You must possess strong organizational skills, and the ability to build effective working relationships across teams.
Key job responsibilities
The Data Center Asset & Documentation Coordinator will be responsible for setup and maintaining site asset and spare parts data through MBOMs. They will work to ensure that asset and spare part details are captured to match the digital record. They will work with corresponding teams (FE and Ops) to align and maintain the data in PLM systems. They will proactively perform routine data scrubs, identify and correct any anomalies, while continuously looking for ways to automate and enhance processes. They will also work with developers/TPMs to incorporate AI solutions to improve process efficiency and speed.
