Responsibilities

  • Perform computed tomography scans on patients with accuracy and efficiency.

  • Ensure radiation safety and follow ALARA principles for all procedures.

  • Review patient history and ensure proper protocol selection for each scan.

  • Operate CT equipment, calibrate, and troubleshoot hardware as needed.

  • Collaborate with radiologists to verify image quality and diagnostic relevance.

  • Maintain meticulous patient records and accurate procedure documentation.

  • Engage in ongoing professional development to advance technical skills.

  • Adhere to scheduled work pipelines to meet daily volume targets.

  • Provide compassionate patient care and minimize wait times to enhance experience.

  • Assist in data collection for quality improvement and performance metrics.

  • Maintain clean and organized workstation and comply with facility policies.


Experience/Qualifications

  • Certified CT technologist with current state license or registration.

  • Strong knowledge of ALARA principles and radiation safety practices.

  • Proficiency operating CT scanners, adjusting protocols, and calibrations.

  • Ability to review patient history and select appropriate scan protocol.

  • Collaboration with radiologists to verify image quality and diagnostic relevance.
