Job description

Amaero Advanced Materials & Manufacturing, Inc. (The “Company”) is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Laboratory Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in laboratory techniques and data collection, with experience in various laboratory settings including research, clinical, and/or industrial laboratories.

·         Perform laboratory tests and procedures following standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions (WI)

·         Collect, prepare, and analyse samples with reporting

·         Maintain accurate records of experiments and results

·         Operate and maintain laboratory equipment

·         Assist in the development of new laboratory techniques

·         Ensure compliance with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and safety regulations

·         Maintain a clean work environment and use appropriate cleaning methods

·         Other duties as directed by the Quality Manager

·         Data collection and laboratory analysis techniques

·         Math proficiency for data analysis

·         Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

·         Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

·         Effective communication skills (written and verbal).

·         Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality.

·         Experience with the following and/or metal powders strongly preferred:

o    Powder morphology analysis

o    Particle Size Distribution via sieve analysis, laser diffraction, etc.

o    Chemical analysis via combustion or wet chemistry techniques (Leco and/or ICP-OES)

o    Scanning Electron Microscopy

o   Particle Flow Analysis via Hall Flow, etc.

·         Research laboratory experience with preferred Industrial lab experience

·         This is an hourly position expected to have qualified candidates work 40 hours / week with a possibility of overtime.

·         Must be able to stand, walk, sit, bend, stoop, and lift up to 45 lbs. throughout an 8–10-hour shift.
