Job description

Data Collection Interviewer - PEGUS Research
PEGUS Research is looking for personable and detail-oriented self-starters to join our Data Collection team, which supports research studies by interviewing and collecting data from study participants. This position is ideal for individuals looking for a part-time position during the weekday, with an average of 20 hours of work per week during study fielding.

Data Collection Interviewers contribute to our team in the following ways:
  • Conduct interviews with study participants, primarily from home via video conference
  • Troubleshoot video conference connection issues
  • Obtain and document informed consent from eligible participants
  • Enter participant responses into data collection systems
  • Work with study staff to ensure data integrity
Qualifications:
  • High School graduate
  • Knowledge of general computer systems and ability to troubleshoot minor connection or technical issues with participants (e.g., walk a participant through how to connect to a Zoom/Microsoft Teams meeting).
  • Must be able to navigate multiple different computer applications simultaneously (e.g., Internet browser, Zoom/Microsoft Teams, MS Office)
  • Solid interpersonal skills
  • Clear and effective communicator
  • Careful attention to detail
  • Research or interviewing experience a plus
  • Laptop and equipment will be provided, but stable home internet connectivity, a private home work area, and the ability to keep a punctual appointment schedule are essential.
Schedule:
  • This position is Part-Time/PRN/As Needed, and work is never guaranteed.
  • The daily schedule for conducting remote interviews from home can be flexible, but usually needs to be between 8 AM and 6 PM MST.
  • Availability for a minimum of 20 hours/week is desired.
  • Company and project-specific training will be included.
Salary and Benefits:
  • Starting Salary: $17.00 an hour
  • Up to 4% match on our 401(k) plan
  • Flexible work environment and hours
