Application Engineer (POS)
Location: Houston Texas (Hybrid-3 Days/week Onsite)
Job Type: Long Term Contract
Skills:
- Overview/High level description of the position
- This position joins a Marketing scrum team.
- As a member of the team, you will lead development of new stories.
- This position will assist the Vendor Managers to develop features for the products.
Responsibilities:
- Gather work requirements for retail development projects.
- Build and test features.
- Collaboration with other developers, architects and business SMEs in Agile scrum teams.
- Clear documentation and definition of how new/revised code operates to enable others to work with and support the code.
Educational / Certification:
- BS Computer Science or related technical field involving coding (e.g., Engineering or mathematics), or equivalent practical experience.
Experience:
- Strong data coding skills
- 4+ years of SQL
- Experience with Salesforce and an understanding of its object structure (nice to have)
- Experience working in an Agile Development team
