We are seeking an entry level professional for our Clerical/Payroll Admin Assistant position. The ideal candidate will be able to assist the payroll administrator with the screening and onboarding process of new employees, as well as other clerical duties assigned by the controller.

Some responsibilities, but are not limited to:

  • Verify, and review applications within our ADP/WFN system.
  • Initiate screening under the direction of management.
  • Communicate with management once screening items are completed.
  • Ensures that applicants complete all new hire paperwork under the guidance of the manager.
  • Ensures all initial HR training (HR/Safety/KPA) has been completed.
  • Verifies that each file has an approved job description signed by employee and manager.
  • Ensures that I-9 data is current and recorded following all federal and company guidelines.
  • Ensures all benefits (including 401K) are offered in a timely manner.
  • Assists with new hire benefit appointments and enrollment.
  • Ensures terminated employees receive COBRA information in a timely manner.
  • Processes compliance reports regarding training and onboarding under the guidance of the manager.
  • Ensures that all HR compliance posters are visible and up to date.
  • Assists with benefit open enrollment.
  • Performs clerical duties as assigned to include but not limited to: Reception work, filing, running errands to vendors if needed, making copies.
  • Assists as back-up cashier if needed.
